TRUMP Coin Allows Purchases of Donald Trump Merchandise

Recently, online platforms selling merchandise featuring former President Donald Trump have begun to accept his meme coin, known as Official Trump TRUMP/USD, as a form of payment. This coin has gained a remarkable valuation, reaching up to billions of dollars shortly after its launch.

What’s New: Several websites specializing in Trump-branded items, which include products such as watches, sneakers, and perfumes, are now allowing customers to utilize the "Solana Pay" option at checkout. This provides the ability to complete transactions using TRUMP coin.

As of the latest updates, this payment method can be used on sites like GetTrumpWatches.com, GetTrumpFragrances.com, and GetTrumpSneakers.com. However, the official retail site of the Trump Organization, TrumpStore.com, has not yet implemented this payment option.

Additionally, the travel booking platform Travala.com has also started accepting payments in TRUMP coin, showing its expanding use cases.

Why is This Important: This development comes amid the volatility that TRUMP coin has experienced since its introduction a few weeks ago. Initially, the meme coin reached a fully diluted valuation of about $75 billion, but it has since seen a decline of over 63% in its market value.

It is noteworthy that 80% of the coin’s supply is controlled by entities connected with The Trump Organization, leading to speculation regarding President Trump's potential financial benefits from these market activities.

When questioned about the "several billion dollars" the meme coin has generated, President Trump referred to that amount as merely "peanuts," suggesting a sense of ease regarding its financial fluctuations.

Current Value: As it stands, the TRUMP coin is priced at $28.11, with a slight increase of 3.22% over the past day, according to the latest data available.
