Orion Portfolio Solutions LLC Reduces Stake in SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF (NYSEARCA:JNK)

On December 19th, 2024, it was reported that Orion Portfolio Solutions LLC has decreased its investment in the SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF (NYSEARCA:JNK) by 17.7% in the third quarter of the year. According to the latest filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm now holds 3,709 shares of the ETF after selling 796 shares during this period. The total value of Orion’s stake in the SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF was approximately $363,000 at the close of the recent quarter.

In addition to Orion Portfolio Solutions, several other significant investors have also adjusted their positions in the JNK ETF. Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings Inc. increased its holdings by 35.6% during the second quarter and now owns 35,399 shares worth around $3,337,000 after adding 9,300 shares. Similarly, Raymond James & Associates raised its stake by 48.7%, bringing its total to 91,017 shares valued at about $8,580,000 following their purchase of an additional 29,822 shares. First Horizon Advisors Inc. also raised its holdings by 11.5%, now possessing 1,175 shares worth $111,000 after acquiring 121 more shares.

Moreover, 1620 Investment Advisors Inc. bought a new stake in the SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF valued at $48,000 during the same period. Additionally, &PARTNERS also added a new position in the ETF worth roughly $491,000. Overall, institutional investors and hedge funds collectively own approximately 87.54% of the shares in the SPDR Bloomberg High Yield Bond ETF.

This index encompasses publicly issued, U.S. dollar-denominated, non-investment grade, fixed-rate taxable corporate bonds that have a minimum maturity of one year and are rated high-yield according to the middle rating assigned by Moody's, S&P, and Fitch. Additionally, these bonds must possess a minimum outstanding face value of $600 million.
