AQR Capital Management Adjusts Holdings in SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF

AQR Capital Management LLC has recently made adjustments to its investment in the SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF (NYSEARCA:SPYG). In its latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the firm noted a reduction of 11.2% in its holdings during the second quarter. Following this change, AQR now holds 10,272 shares of the ETF, having sold 1,302 shares throughout that quarter. As of the most recent reporting period, the value of AQR's stake in SPYG stands at approximately $823,000.

In addition to AQR Capital Management, several other institutional investors have also modified their positions in the SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF. Envestnet Asset Management Inc., for instance, increased its stake by a remarkable 125.1% in the second quarter. The firm now owns 12,065,732 shares, which are valued at around $966.8 million following an acquisition of an additional 6,706,045 shares during that timeframe. Furthermore, LPL Financial LLC upped its holdings by 7.2% in the second quarter, increasing its ownership to 30,048,719 shares worth $2.4 billion after purchasing 2,013,457 shares during the quarter. Cetera Investment Advisers made a substantial increase to its position by 282.8% in the first quarter, bringing its total to 2,192,642 shares valued at around $160.4 million after adding 1,619,888 shares. Lastly, Savant Capital LLC also bolstered its investment by 117.6% in the second quarter, now holding 2,512,342 shares worth approximately $201.3 million after acquiring an additional 1,357,615 shares.
